From being raised on the streets to serving the Task Board, Alois as often had his life directed for him. It was rare that he felt he got to make his own decisions and chose his own path. He is a tall and broad shouldered man, one who appears to spend far too much time in the gym. This view isn't aided by the genetic conditioning he underwent to increase his strength. Alois resents being labeled a meat head, but honestly he does prefer it if someone else does the thinking. Quick action and raw strength are his forté.

Alois is best described as the strong, silent type. He doesn’t speak much, and is careful in the choice of his words. Not because he wants to be profound, but because he wants to hide his lack of knowledge from others. He prefers to use actions to communicate, and is often the first to strike. He doesn’t anger quickly, but refuses to sit idly by. He is loyal to a cause, but not blindly so.

His long term goal is to find his place in life, do something he finds meaningful and find someone who makes him feel alive. Short term, he is simply looking for his next target, and hoping to acquaint them with a bullet. To this end, Alois always carries a gun or two hidden on his person, even when he is off duty and simply enjoying life, as best one can.

What I want to have happen to Alois is have him build an emotional connection with someone, to give him the push he needs to make his life be more then carrying out orders. He already has the inklings to act on his own, and recently purchased a TV at his own discretion. a rare act of self interest on his part. I want to see him learn more about Potentials, either throught his own interactions with them on through research, at first to fight them better, but soon to learn their true nature and the nature of the bureaucracy he so diligently served, only to rebel and use the gifts they gave him against them.

Once Alois is given a target, he proceeds methodologically. He won’t jump to the chase immediately, as his training has taught him to study a potential and discover their power before destroying them, to facilitate the act. Alois isn’t one to arrive unprepared either, often carrying a host of weapons on him should one gun fail him. If need be he will use his body as a weapon as well.

This determination often sets him against other hunters should targets clash. He feels a need to personally accomplish his task and won't bother to assist others.

Alois does not flinch at the sight of death, and thanks to his time spent training for his position isn’t one to value one life over another. He simply acts for what he determines to be the greater good. For instance, in a hostage situation, he would not risk the lives of many for the sake of one hostage. He’d keep the hostage in mind as he acted, but they aren’t his top priority.

His lack of sensitivity to certain situations makes him appear as cruel and uncaring. He is often called a monster by others, but he does what he can to brush the comment off. After all he was simply doing his job.

Alois is as mentally strong as he is physically. Years of hardship have toughened him from the inside out. Blood and gore do not scare him. He can easily sit though the scariest movies and yawn. Even the Titanic won’t have him shed a tear.

He’s often seen as an uncaring brute, a man who only bothers to settle things with violence and death, rather than talk about things emotionally. The truth of the matter is he has no idea how to talk about his emotions and buries them.

Born in the slums of the Gamma sector, Alois learned from a young age that the world sought nothing but to chew him up and spit him out. His father was a lowly factory worker, spending ten hours a day to make enough money to keep his family fed. His mother stayed at home, cleaning and caring for the tiny apartment they shared. Her nerves had long ago been frayed to the breaking point from the stress of life in the slums.

Alois’ father soon developed a drinking habit one that drive a wedge into the family. During his drunken stupors he would often assault Alois and his mother. The boy fled during one particularly violent rage, and was taken by a roaming gang. He was sold to another gang, who decided to mold the ten year old boy into a grunt. For eight years Alois was on a strict diet and workout routine in the hopes of making him someone useful to the gangs needs.

It was on his nineteenth year of life that Alois was noticed by a Delta task force. Impressed with how the youth handled his gun, the soldier took him to Delta Sector and presented him to the recruitment office for a special project. They offered Alois an education, a chance to be something more than a thug, and possibly more than human.

He underwent various gene therapies and intense physical training for many years, honing his killing skills and physical strength. He never considered himself a top recruit, however he was placed into the Task Force, and sent out to eliminate potentials. Informed of their monstrous nature and the threat they posed to humanity, he was content to eliminate them, if only to keep people safe.
