TWENTY-SIX FEMALE HETEROSEXUAL (jk) MEDICAL BOARD PHYSICIAN/SURGEON RESEARCH | FIERARU, ELISE K. Elise grew up in a normal life - as normal as it could be. Her dad was in the technology board, an engineer, or a director, something important that she could never remember. He never went missing, that was the point, he was still around doing something of some sort. Her mother was a nurse in the medical board. Her father was quite vehement that she not enter the technology board, thus leading her to go into medical. She had high goals at that point, she still has higher goals - Elise doesn't particularly want to be a surgeon for the rest of her life, she yearns for something more. She would very much like to have a bit of influence herself over things that happen. But at the same time, she can't imagine life different from what she has now, helping people. Because that is what she strives for, helping people no matter what. It's a bit idealist of her, and very dangerous. She tries to keep her sympathist feelings to herself, about the whispered words of Potentials running around, doing crazy things. Because she frankly doesn't care what they are, who people are, and she'd willingly treat them, and hopefully not die in the process. She's a bit innocent to the world, and is literally a good example of someone who strives to be inherently good. So what I want for her is to break her. To take her innocence and stomp on it, and crush it completely until it's no longer there. I want her corrupted, spiteful, hurt, betrayed. I want her whole foundation of the government, potentials, everything to be turned upside down and make her suffer (Wait I just realized this isn't what this is supposed to be). I'm interested in having a complete shitstorm overcome her, and internal conflicts abound, and see how she fares up to the real world and escape this fantasy world that she lives in (for christ's sake, she's twenty six she should be more mature than this). She hears about deaths and eliminations on the researchers in Alpha sector, but for the most part she's felt untouchable on that realm, as no one yet close to her has been eliminated. I want her to realize that she lives in a dystopian world, not some weird utopia she'd built up in her mind. She needs to learn that things are not as they seem, she needs to learn how to look after herself and stop blindly trusting others. She needs independence, and I'm looking forward for her to face this and become independent (or y'know, completely broken). CONSIDERATE Elise is someone who would much rather make someone else happy than herself. She cares so very much about those around her, and she'd much rather them be happy than herself - because if they're happy, she's happy. She's fairly easy with the interns, her assistants, her patients, and she tries to care for them the best she can. In the end, when her friends or family or close acquaintance (pretty much everyone) is sad, she starts to feel sad and guilty and responsible. Although because of this, she's been called a doormat and a pushover. She really tries not to be, but it's so hard when she's so weak to pity parties. FORGIVING Superfluous and unneeded apologies are frequent with Elise - she apologizes for every little thing she does wrong. It's not unheard of for her to have annoyed someone through this - even she sometimes admit that she overdoes it. But she means it, every time. She's sorry for whatever little thing she's done and will probably try to make it up in some way, shape, or form. Usually she makes a lot of little mistakes, or takes too long on something, menial things at best. Not exactly something to be apologetic for, but she does anyways, half because she really is sorry, and half because she's afraid to offend someone if she doesn't say sorry. IMPRACTICAL Elise lives in a more idealized world than someone her age should. She still wishes for a happy ending and a comfortable, idyllic life. And true love. And children. Elise can't really imagine settling in with someone right now, there was so much to learn and so many people to help! Though she wants one very much. Pretty much she wants a lot of things that reality can't offer (okay so she wants to dress up in pretty dresses everyday, is that so bad?). She does try to make the best of things, but she can really lack a sense of reality sometimes, with all her hoping and wishing that would get her nowhere. AFFECTIONATE Elise is the type of person who, given a certain person, would bathe people in love and caring and general affection. She practically reminds them at every given occasion she can that they're amazing and awesome and they're a great person, generalities such as that. She just refuses to let people forget to value themselves (she constantly does this with her patients too), because before they're able to appreciate another human being, they had to appreciate themselves. And everyone should appreciate themselves. She boosts (or tries to) other people's ego. She's still not sure if this is a good or bad thing. MEEK When Elise's not treating her patients or out with friends, she's quiet. She doesn't really force herself onto people in a big spectacle (not that she does it in any other situation). When people get to know her, past all the happiness and the affection, she retains those traits but she's less overbearing about it. In fact, she takes a more submissive role, being quiet, patient, pretty much ready to manipulate. She'll go along with pretty much anything, actually, so long as it's within reason. She'd open herself up to people much too easily, and in the end she'd blindly follow somebody if she really trusted them. INDULGENT There are a lot of things that Elise takes pleasure in, and she'll be lying if she didn't admit that she quite often indulged herself on them. She has little willpower, if any, to resist anything. She has a craving for chocolate? Oh what about that diet? Oh, it just doesn't exist anymore while she enjoyed the delicious chocolatey goodness. It also goes to say she's very lenient when she's supposed to be authoritative. They accidentally mixed two medicines that would have potentially caused a death? Well, she'd be a bit angry, a bit concerned, probably would have a stern talk about how crucial a little detail is, and let them go with little more than a scolding. SENSITIVE Elise has always been called out for being overly emotional and crying over the littlest things. Even though she's improved much from her childhood years, she still can't quite keep a cap on her emotions. She's aware she should be a little more composed and in control especially as a professional, but sometimes she simply can't help it. When the waterworks come, they simply don't stop. It could really be something as little as a lost necklace, or as grim as a death in the family. But more often than not there are words that make her cry, a simple criticism (she welcomes it, but she's still incredibly emotional over it) or a few unkind words in her direction. She can't tolerate it herself and feels incompetent, and that's why she rarely says a bad word about anyone, unless she's teasing. GLIMPSE i. surgical record of work (edited) Heart Transplant, performed by Dr. Fieraru, twenty days ago Septal Myotomy, performed by Dr. Fieraru, three months ago Surgical Clipping of Brain Aneurysm, performed by Dr. Fieraru, five months ago Discectomy, performed by Dr. Fieraru, a year ago ii. performance review Elise has been working as a surgeon for nearly a year now, and as a physician for two. She had shown great potential as a surgeon, with her precise hand and ability to make quick decisions if there are any complications. Thus far no patients have died under her watch, but rarely has she gotten a patient who needed severe injury treatment. In a few years, she may get a promotion should she continue on the path she is embarking on at this moment. Her treatment methods have been observed to be very humane and treatments are usually administered by herself personally no matter how menial the task. As a new surgeon, she had performed both neurosurgery and cardiovascular surgery with a high success rate and very little complication. She has never refused a patient assigned to her and has paid acute attention to detail to the point in where she has prevented a small oversight that would have led to the wrong medication being administered to a patient. Patients assigned under Dr. Fieraru come from a variety of different backgrounds from various sectors. While she mostly works with patients in the Alpha sector, she has also worked with patients from the Beta and Delta sectors, and on occasion Gamma sector. She's been sheltered from most brutalities found in the medical field, the serious injuries of the less-than-important beings have not yet been assigned to her. Many of the people who have been under her care quite like her, and she has a plethora of them assigned to her for check ups to the point where she has little time for surgeries, and is usually scheduled for one. Elise has performed many emergency surgeries at short notice earlier in her career, and when the day isn't too busy for her (or when she comes in at erratic times, maybe 2 or 3 in the morning). She has an even and steady hand in which she performs precise incisions and is able to (usually) finish the surgery within a reasonable amount of time. However, her weaknesses in the workplace are problematic at times. While most of her errors falls back to her inexperience in the field and her general short time being employed, her emotions are unstable and at times can interfere with what should be her best judgement on treatment of patients. While she has been lucky so far, she normally sways towards dangerous and expensive surgeries if it has even the slightest possibility of survival. Hopefully within time, she will experience patient death and make more realistic decisions. Perhaps then she may possibly progress within the board. She has also treated an alarmingly high rate of potentials. While at the time of admittance they were not declared potentials, soon afterwards the government was able to eradicate them. While this has no correlation towards her work and her reputation, a close eye must watch over her to monitor her. Hopefully her work ethic does not interfere with disposal of potential subjects. It would be a shame to lose such a talented surgeon. iii. MADE BY KIROUKO OF GANGNAM-STYLE |
