► | ALEXANDER FAIRCHILD Underneath it all, Alex is one of the select few on the task board who hunts down potentials, either killing them outright or capturing them for questioning/experimentation. His father's a high up member of the Security board, so he's been conditioned to be a soldier his entire life, but was snagged by the task board while in high school. He's a highly trained killer (has to be, to go toe to toe with people who can access the supernatural) and has never lost sleep over the fact he takes lives for a living. He's also been genetically altered, to have an increased resistance to potential abilities.Even with his fake personas stripped away, Alex still hides behind a number of masks. He's rather apathetic about everything and constantly bored, so spends his life trying to seek out excitement. It's one of the reasons he enjoys his job, as he only really feels alive with his life on the line. He's charismatic and incredibly charming when he wants to be, but if people have trained with him for a while they might see through it. He's exceptionally competitive so he's likely to have made a few enemies/rivals. He sleeps around a lot but has never been in a relationship, and any friendships are likely to be superficial, as he's never really made an emotional connection with anyone. For now, I'd like for only people on Task board to know/guess that Alex is a Task board agent. His secrets might come out later, but at the moment there's no reason for anyone to have any idea.
► | EMRHYs 'RHYS' GABRIEL 'Rhys, or Gabe, is Alex's alias, an assistant medic in the Gamma sector. The fake identification lists him as twenty one, making it less surprising that he is still only a junior assistant medic, a post he took up ten months ago. Alex has been careful to create someone who would not be considered a threat by anyone; Rhys is far from being the most intelligent crayon in the box. He comes off as a charming pretty boy, more interested in his playboy nightlife than his career, but is perfectly friendly to everyone he meets. His carefree, ignorant attitude might rub plenty of people the wrong way, but he's good at getting people to talk without them realising. Despite his apparent carelessness, he's a relatively decent medic, as he hates doing anything half-heartedly. He's likely to have made a number of friends in the ten months he's been living in Gamma, as he's constantly out socialising. He smokes a lot, drinks too much and gambles plenty, and can get quite physically violent when he's drunk/losing. He's a bit of an arrogant asshole but tends to get away with it by mixing it with a cheeky sense of humour. There are probably a lot of people who are irritated by him, though I can't imagine anyone sees him as important/serious enough to view him as any sort of enemy. He's subtly poking around the squadrons for information about their missions, even if he can always just claim curiosity as an excuse if anyone calls him on it.
► | NAME MCNAME It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on tv, but where are those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely? Lucky there's a family guy, lucky there's a man who positively can do all the things that make us laugh and cry - he's our family guy! Here's how it is: Earth got used up, so we terraformed a whole new galaxy of Earths, some rich and flush with the new technologies, some not so much. Central Planets, them was formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule; a few idiots tried to fight it, among them myself. I'm Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Serenity. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic. We even picked up a preacher, and a bona fide companion. There's a doctor, too, took his genius sister out of some Alliance camp, so they're keeping a low profile. You got a job, we can do it, don't much care what it is. |
